Print Shop
Our prints are made using the latest Hi-Fi  archival digital technologies and fine art papers and canvas. Whether the image is captured on film or digital cameras, the prints are made using modern inkjet technology. We make much larger prints than previously practical or affordable, up to 60 inches wide and at any length. The print runs are typically of 100 signed copies, and  upon purchase, a new print is made for the buyer. Mounting and framing large format prints need careful consideration, and our Frame & Mount shop provides a wide variety of both traditional and modern affordable mounting and framing systems suitable for our large format prints.
Archival color and black & white ink jet prints, also known as Giclee (pronounced jeeclay) prints. have a life expectancy of more than 100 years, far greater than traditional photographic prints (especially color c-types). Our large format prints are made from very high resolution original images. Film-based images are typically medium and large format originals, which are scanned with hi-fidelity drum and flat-bed scanners that not only capture the images in high resolution, but also capture unrivaled detail in the shadows and highlights. Digital images are captured using high-end digital SLR, digital medium format and digital technical view cameras, with resolutions ranging between24 and 80 megapixels.
Our Hi-Fi color printing is done with 7 and 10 ink channel color printers, which extend the accuracy and range of the color gamut provided by normal digital printing. Our black and white prints are made with dedicated printers, using 7 separate black & white ink channels. The prints display exceptional tonal range, far exceeding that of traditional silver prints and revealing those produced in Platinum prints.

To help gauge the image quality of our prints,  the three images here show the full frame picture taken from The English Hedge collection. The other two images show detailed enlargements form the full frame.
